The Ways of st. James that pass through our country are part of the European network of pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

You can choose from 6 different routes. You can visit significant pilgrimage sites, cities and historical monuments. Wherever the current structure of the landscape allows it, the routes follow the ancient merchant paths. They lead along rivers, plains or even rock towns to the hills rich in forests.

The paths are as diverse as our country is, with monasteries, charming churches, chapels and other spiritual references to the lives of our ancestors, which with their presence point to the Christian history of our country. It is the most beautiful mixture of stimuli that you can experience in such a small area on a European scale.

The descriptions of the routes are of various lengths, and we are constantly adding details.

In 2018, we entered into an agrement with the Czech Tourists’ Club, thanks to which the routes are marked with a blue-yellow shell on tourist signposts.
